Peanut Butter Chocolate Dates

The peanut butter chocolate dipped dates legit changed how I feel about dates. Dates are not usually my favorite snack on their own, It also depends on the kind of dates. With time you will be able to tell my love for nut butter because I use it in almost everything, smoothies, curries, bread spread, baking, name it.

I can’t explain the joy I had when I realized I could put the nut butter in the middle. Normally I dip the dates in the butter, It never occurred to me that I could fill the dates with nut butter especially chunky butter because a girl loves her texture.

This is another super simple, yet healthy guilt-free snack. Dates are quite high in sugar and peanut butter is high in saturated fats so of course enjoy sparingly. I must say I tried to not eat all of them in one sitting which almost always never happens. A tip is to make only 7 so that you enjoy one every day of the week.

  • Take the dates out of the fridge, then dip them into the chocolate syrup and freeze again for another 30 minutes
  • ENJOY!

Easy like Sunday morning, lol. I found that storing these in the freezer keeps the mold better but you can store them in the fridge too.

I also like to make a big batch of the chocolate syrup and just store it in the fridge to save time for future use as I love making sweet chocolatey treats or even add it to my toast as a bread spread.

As always, I would love to see your creations when you try this recipe so please do not forget to tag me @madammebae and hashtag #madammebae on Instagram, looking forward to seeing your creations.

Tip for the coconut oil to use, make sure it is cold pressed organic coconut oil, I use nutiva coconut oil most of the time for my food, hair and skin regimen. I will leave an affiliate to the particular one I use below so you can get yourself one today.
