The avocado banana blueberry smoothie is very creamy and nutritious. Like you can already tell from my previous recipes I like foods that are good for the soul, skin and will help the body in so many different ways. If you watched my latest youtube video, you would know how excited I am to have this drink to replenish all my lost nutrients and nothing does it better than this smoothie.
Now that the weather is getting colder, my skin is drying up and I like to keep it moisturized both on top and from within. Avocado is one of my favorite foods to use for face masks as well as consume because of its healthy fat components that are good for the skin. I also use it as a deep conditioner because it’s a good moisturizer and leaves the hair super soft especially if you have strong nappy hair.
This smoothie is perfect for both vegans and non-vegans as it calls for nut-based milk, and I have personally never used water but I think you can totally use water as a base too.

I also enjoy smoothies even when it gets cold because they are very easy and quick to make especially for busy people on the go. The only problem with this particular one is that it’s not ideal for make-ahead smoothies but its still perfect.
AVOCADO BANANA BLUEBERRY SMOOTHIE
- 1/2 avocado
- 1 frozen banana
- 1/4 cup of blueberries
- 1/2 a cup of almond milk
- 1 tablespoon of chia seeds
- Add all the ingredients to a blender and pulse till you get a smooth consistency
