How to lose weight with intermittent fasting

Intermittent fasting is not a diet like many people tend to think. Intermittent fasting simply means fasting for a certain period of time and eating for the rest. The most common type of intermittent fasting is the 16/8 fast, where you eat fast for 16 hours and eat for 8.

This is much simpler than it sounds because the hours you are sleeping also count as fasted time, therefore if you start eating at midday, then you will finish eating at 8pm.

 

Intermittent fasting has so many benefits, my favorite one being cell rejuvenation, After the body is done with its daily activities such as digestion, it taps into its healing naturally properties and that in most cases happens after 16 hours. If you are doubting that intermittent fasting for weight loss really works, I went a step further to experiment for a week with one of the types of intermittent fasting which is the OMAD fast or One Meal A Day fast, intermittent fasting results are real.

However, there is a right and wrong way to do this, you always have to ensure that you are nourishing your body during this time, that is why I went ahead to share what I eat when I’m fasting to give you some inspiration.

 


Weight loss can sometimes seem like a term paper, but I like to say, keep it simple and take it one step at a time, you can’t lose all the weight you’ve gained in 10 years in 1 mone month. As always don’t forget to stay motivated, be patient, trust the process and spread the love.
